CITY Furniture and the Florida Consortium of Urban League Affiliates have teamed up to offer a new comprehensive job search tool designed to empower Florida residents by connecting them to career opportunities throughout the state. The tool will be designed as a one-stop shop for job-seekers.
Power of We FLORIDA LISTENING TOURS
The Florida Consortium of Urban Leagues will host the inaugural #PowerOfWe Listen & Learn Tour – a statewide initiative to gather community for open dialogue about the specific issues and opportunities in target Urban League cities. Residents from across the state will have an opportunity to share their concerns and priorities directly with legislators and community leaders. These insights will be used to develop targeted policy solutions and improve the quality of life for children and families throughout Florida.

Members of Florida Black Caucus, community leaders, residents, educators, business owners, seniors and young people.

INITIATIVE GOALS:
- Develop targeted policy initiatives that address needs of Black and Brown communities throughout the state.
- Allocate resources more effectively to ensure equitable distribution of funding
- Strengthen partnerships with civic and community leaders to achieve collective goals
- Empower/amplify voices of Black and Brown communities
- Create runway for statewide policy convenings
