REGIONAL ENTREPRENEUERSHIP CENTERS AND STATEWIDE SMALL BUSINESS LOAN FUND

The Regional Entrepreneurship Centers and statewide Small Business Loan Fund bring together an alliance of business owners, corporations, community partners, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to accelerate our efforts in giving minority and women entrepreneurs access to money, markets, and management. Our collaborative approach allows us to work closely with our entrepreneurs to better understand and respond to their business’ unique needs and create wealth in historically disenfranchised communities across the state of Florida.

Private capital raised for the Statewide Small Business Loan Fund

The funds allow the Florida Consortium of Urban Leagues, through the Urban League of Broward County and its subsidiary the Central County Community Development Corporation, to continue the Entrepreneurship Center model to serve women and minority-owned businesses statewide. The funds will also allow the Florida Consortium to continue raising lending capital as leverage for the continuation of the established DEO loan guarantee fund and to increase the size of the Small Business Loan Fund.
